  1. SCARY! Surgeries AGE your BRAIN

Mainstream is always quick to pull the trigger when it comes to recommending surgery.

But the truth is, there are very few cases where that kind of “slash and burn” approach is something you should seriously consider.

After all, I don’t have to tell you surgeries are extraordinarily hard on your body to go through and recover from—especially seniors.

Not to mention the risks you’ll face during the surgery itself…

Plus the fact that they don’t always work!

And now, a new study shows a HORRIFYING side effect from surgery never previously imagined…

The biggest reason yet to avoid a surgery

You do EVERYTHING you can to protect your brain. Don't let all that effort go to waste by going through some worthless surgery...

Because a recent study published in the British Medical Journal reveals a SHOCKING side effect:

ANYTIME you go in for major surgery, your brain ages beyond its years.

It's as though your brain goes in surgery…and wakes up anywhere from five to nearly 18 months later. In other words, over a few hours, your brain's function has decreased that much!

If you have to stay in the hospital after, it gets EVEN WORSE...

Your odds of significant brain decline are DOUBLE people who can go home immediately.

This horrifying, BRAIN-WRECKING consequence is just the newest and latest in a laundry list of sickening surgery side effects…

In the same vein, other studies have found:

    • Minimal improvement in quality of life following knee replacement surgery. A recent study followed 4,500 people for nine years after they’d had their knees replaced. The ONLY BENEFITS were seen in people with severe degenerative osteoarthritis. Yet another study found knee surgery was no better than PLACEBO surgery.
    • Removing healthy breast tissue isn't any better. Unless you have a rare gene, have a double mastectomy won't do anything for your health.
    • Prostate surgery is just as bad. Most of the time, tumors in your prostate don't travel to other areas of your body -- which is the ONLY time a surgery is warranted. Otherwise, you'll have a much higher quality of life actively watching for any signs of it spreading; a few blood tests a year are much better than the incontinence and sexual problems that almost always come with prostate surgery.

So before you have ANY surgery, do your research.

Talk to more than one doctor for second, third, and fourth opinions. Find out if something as simple as dietary changes or exercise can make a difference.

Ask if active surveillance will do the trick.

Because once you get cut, there's no going back—and a few hours spent looking into your health issue might save you months of age added to your brain!

  2. Shine a light on prostate cancer

How sunlight prevents death from prostate cancer

If you want to save your prostate and spare yourself a cancer death, forget all about PSA tests, drugs, surgeries, and everything else the mainstream has been throwing at this disease.

    Head to the beach instead.

That's because the very sunlight you've been told to avoid can actually save you from any number of cancers, and the latest research puts prostate cancer high on that list.

Harvard researchers tracked more than 2,500 men for nearly two decades and found that high D levels slashed the risk of dying of prostate cancer by more than half.

In fact, nearly a third of the men who died of prostate cancer were among those with the lowest D levels of anyone in the study, while only 16 percent of the deaths were among men with high levels.

Once you crunch the numbers that adds up to a 57 percent overall reduction in the risk of death -- and that's not the only big news out of the study.

It turns out D didn't lower the overall risk of a tumor -- just the risk of dying from one. This means the sunshine vitamin ignores the harmless tumors you don't need to worry about, while stopping the deadly ones that could kill you.

There's not an oncologist on the planet that's figured out how to do that!

Vitamin D's no one-trick pony when it comes to cancer, either. It can also help fight or prevent lung, colon, breast, and endometrial cancer. And despite what you've heard, vitamin D can prevent the deadliest forms of skin cancer.

That's one of the reasons the skin cancer rate has actually shot up since D-blocking sunscreens came on the market -- but only one. The other reason is that those icky gooey creams and lotions themselves actually contain dangerous cancer-causing chemicals.

The synthetic form of vitamin A used in many until just recently was even found to SPEED the growth of tumors when exposed to sunlight.

But whether they contain that A or not, skip 'em all. The only protection you really need from the sun is a shady tree or a beach umbrella -- and the sense to get under it before you get burned.

I've got more on cancer up next. Keep reading!
