Alzheimer’s

  1. Wonder spice STOPS Alzheimer’s in its tracks

I’ve had countless people come to me in full panic when their memories start to slip.

They’re worried that they’re on the road to Alzheimer’s… and they even fear becoming a burden on their families.

At first, it’s missing keys... then it’s getting lost in the grocery store... or forgetting how to get home.

They know that Big Pharma drugs aren’t the answer, and the meds come with horrible side effects.

    But that doesn’t mean there’s no hope…

Because new research points to a miracle spice that attacks Alzheimer’s at the source – and can help keep your mind sharp as a tack.

That wonder spice is turmeric, a mainstay in Indian food. But what’s really important is the active ingredient locked inside it: curcumin.

Curcumin is well-known for helping to control inflammation – a MAJOR threat to your brain. There have been thousands of studies on it.

Plus, it’s known to cross the blood-brain barrier and can have a direct impact on your brain.

That’s what caught the eyes of researchers at the UCLA Longevity Center.

They studied the effects of curcumin on 40 adults between the ages of 50 and 90. They all had mild memory loss complaints — a sign Alzheimer’s is right around the corner.

And the results of the study were LIFE-CHANGING.

Participants were given cognitive tests involving recall and attention span every 6 months. Half the group took a placebo, the other half took 90 mg of curcumin twice a day.

At 18 months, the curcumin group tested 28% better on the memory test. The placebo group showed no improvement at all.

Even more shocking is what happened to their brains.

Thirty participants had PET (positron emission tomography) scans on their brains before and after the study.

Researchers tested for beta amyloid and tau signals. These are two key indicators for Alzheimer’s -- you DON’T want to see them.

The placebo group showed no change. But the curcumin group’s levels DROPPED DRASTICALLY after taking it for just 18 months.

Curcumin was actually REVERSING some of the key causes of Alzheimer’s.

Even better, curcumin is a trendy supplement now – which means it’s available just about anywhere.

You can pick it up online or at a local shop for pennies a day.

  2. This bad habit TRIPLES your Alzheimer’s risk

When we retire, most of us pick up new hobbies and interests.

Maybe you started playing golf more… or got caught up on some reading.

But there’s one daily habit that LOTS of seniors develop… and it could be turning your brain to mush.

    I’m talking about daytime napping.

Now, you might be thinking, “What’s a little catnap, after all?”

Well, that daytime napping could be sending your Alzheimer’s risk through the roof.

Researchers at John Hopkins found that seniors who reported being sleepy during the day were three TIMES more likely to develop Alzheimer’s.

There are probably a couple of reasons for this…

First, daytime fatigue can be a sign that you’re not sleeping well at night.

And those nighttime sleeping hours are when your brain basically flushes itself of toxins and plaques that can lead to Alzheimer’s.

There’s actually a very strong link between poor sleep and Alzheimer’s.

Second, daytime sleepiness can actually be a sign of early Alzheimer’s itself.

As Alzheimer’s-causing toxins (like heavy metals) build up in our systems, they can attack our brains and thyroids and cause symptoms like fatigue.

To improve your sleep, your best bet is to try a supplement like melatonin. Melatonin actually helps regulate our sleep cycles, but your levels can dip with age.

To protect your brain, I recommend supplementing with cerefolin NAC. It’s a prescription-only supplement that’s been formulated to protect your brain from our toxic world by boosting levels of a key antioxidant called glutathione.

If your doctor won’t prescribe it for you or you can’t afford it, simply combine B vitamins, NAC, alpha lipoic acid, zinc and selenium. You’ll get the same effect – and you can buy these supplements anywhere.

  3. This Alzheimer’s sign shows up YEARS early (But there’s a BIG catch…)

The way we diagnose Alzheimer’s today is ABSOLUTELY CRAZY! First, most doctors won’t spot the condition until you already have serious symptoms. Then, the Alzheimer’s diagnosis can’t actually be confirmed until you’re DEAD and there’s an autopsy. I wish I was kidding… but I’m not. To have a fighting chance against Alzheimer’s, you need to catch it early. But mainstream...

  10. How air pollution can give you Alzheimer’s

Study shows that, when you breathe polluted air, toxic particles can enter your body through your nose and go straight to your brain. And the regions of the brain they travel to are those most affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
