A breakfast drink to keep DIABETES at bay
It’s no secret that diabetes can take over your life in a hurry.
The frequent doctor visits…
The strict, hard-to-follow diet…
Daily pills and blood sugar tracking…
The laundry list of inconveniences really add up when you have this disease.
That’s where I come in to share something that can reduce your risk—an “out” that will NOT do any damage to your wallet… or your body!
The morning drink you NEED
Today, I’m going to highlight a drink that’s surprisingly been on the mainstream’s “avoid” list for a long time.
I, personally, do not drink coffee in the morning just to wake me up…
I actually drink it for its vast health benefits!
Drinking the dark beverage can help reduce your risk of Parkinson’s, cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, obesity, and much more.
And now there’s a new study showing it can help reduce your risk of diabetes, too:
According to the study published in the Journal of Internal Medicine, drinking two or more cups of coffee a day can lower your diabetes risk by a stunning 60 percent.
This confirms a previous study that found increasing your coffee intake by one cup a day reduces your diabetes risk by 11 percent.
Now, here’s the thing: The beneficial effects of coffee are exclusive to filtered coffee. Not that espresso crap folks buy from Starbucks every morning.
This makes sense because filtering your coffee helps to remove the presence of chemicals like diterpenes, which have been shown to raise your cholesterol levels.
When preparing your cup of Joe, make sure you don’t add in any sweeteners or dairy products that are loaded with unhealthy carbs and fats; these will completely negate the favorable effects on your health.
And drink your coffee in the morning to prevent any sleep disturbances at night.
