Ladies, if you've being diagnosed with breast cancer, you want to do everything you can to get rid of it... as quickly as possible.
And most mainstream doctors will tell you they have just the thing.
They’ll rush you into a “slash and burn” treatment plan -- chemotherapy to shrink the tumor, followed by surgery to remove it.
But here’s the TRUTH you deserve to hear first…
Two new studies prove that these treatments that are supposed to SAVE your life could end up WRECKING and SHORTENING it.
In the first study, researchers in California found that among senior women who received chemotherapy for breast cancer, 42 percent experienced "functional decline.” That means that they had significant problems with their brains and performing physical activity during treatment.
Now, that's not too surprising, considering that chemo can cause brain fog, and leave you exhausted and unsteady on your feet.
But even a year after they FINISHED chemo, a third of the women STILL weren't back to their old selves mentally and/or physically.
And the second study arrived at a similar conclusion about the lasting effects of breast cancer surgery.
Another group of researchers found that among 6,000 nursing home residents who underwent surgery for breast cancer, 60 percent of those who survived for a year after the surgery had significant functional decline.
And those were the lucky ones.
That's because 40 percent of the women DIED within the year following breast cancer surgery.
And 8 percent died within one MONTH.
Now, these women were already on the frail side, given that they were living in a nursing home.
But surgery always comes with the risk of internal bleeding… nasty secondary infections… and even heart damage... which means it can hasten the Grim Reaper's arrival.
And even if it doesn't kill you, going under the knife may speed up cognitive decline that’s already underway.
Considering that chemo can actually make cancer SPREAD -- and that surgery may not add a single candle to your birthday cake -- it's tough to understand why so many docs recommend these treatments for older ladies without a second thought.
Many breast cancers are slow-growing and don't require such aggressive treatment!
So, if you're weighing your treatment options, talk to your doc about proven alternative therapies like intravenous vitamin C -- which I use in my own practice -- before signing on for chemo and surgery.
A natural doc can also guide you toward Chinese herbs like astragalus and mangosteen that have been shown in studies to stop breast cancer cells in their tracks.
